Direction To Use
- Pre-Sterilization: Autoclave for 5min@134°C/20min@121°C (ensure steam meets EN 285 standards to avoid corrosion)
- Positioning:
- Indirect Vision: Angle the mirror to view posterior teeth or lingual surfaces
- Tissue Retraction: Gently push cheeks/tongue aside for better access
- Intraoral Use:
- Avoid Pressure: Use gentle movements to prevent scratching the lens
- Cleaning Mid-Procedure: Wipe the lens with a gloved thumb to remove debris without smudging
- Post-Use Care:
- Immediate Rinsing: Remove blood/debris under running water
- Ultrasonic/Washer Cleaning: Follow manufacturer guidelines for detergent cycles
- Dry Thoroughly: Prevent moisture marks or corrosion before sterilization
- Sterilization: Re-autoclave using the same temperature guidelines
