Proxitip-Luxating Hybrids:Proxitip-Luxating Hybrids designed by thin, precisely angled tips and a large diameter handle, the luxating hybrids provide improved apical and interproxial access for enhanced oral adaption, aiding in the preservation of the buccal plate by serving the periodontal ligaments during atraumatic extractions. The Luxatip is ergonomically designed for comfort and control during use. The shape and size of the handle are designed to minimize the force needed. The tip is extremely fine so that you can insert it easily between bone and root with a minimum of destruction. The specially processed Stainless steel used in the blade is extremely durable and retains its strength and sharpness after sterilization Tips are more finely tapered than elevator tips.
Features
Thin and Precisely Angled Tips: The instruments have thin and precisely angled tips that provide improved access to apical and interproximal areas of teeth, aiding in precise and controlled extractions.
Large Diameter Handle: The large diameter handle is ergonomically designed for comfort and control during use, reducing operator fatigue and ensuring a secure grip.
Minimal Tissue Damage: The fine tip and tapering shaft design minimize tissue damage, allowing for extractions with minimal disruption to surrounding tissues.
Durable Stainless Steel Blade: The blade of the instrument is made from specially processed stainless steel, ensuring durability and maintaining sharpness even after repeated sterilization.
Combination Function: These hybrids serve as a combination of a periotome and an elevator, allowing for efficient cutting of the periodontal ligament and controlled expansion of the bony socket.
Key Specifications
Category: Category:
Material: Stainless Steel
Disposable / Reusable: Reusable
Sterile / Non-Sterile: Non – Sterile
Direction To Use
Positioning: Angle the thin, pre-curved tip directly into the distal periodontal ligament (PDL) space between the tooth root and the distal bone wall.
PDL Severance (Periotome): Apply gentle apical pressure while using micro-rocking motions to cut the ligament fibers along the distal surface cleanly.
Controlled Luxation (Elevator): Gently apply rotational, wedging leverage to expand the socket without putting pressure on the buccal plate.
Extraction Completion: Once the tooth is adequately loosened, use dental forceps or another appropriate instrument to complete the extraction by gently grasping the tooth and removing it from the socket. Inspect the extraction site for any remaining fragments or debris, and ensure proper hemostasis (bleeding control).
