• Preparation: Ensure the mirror handle is clean and free from any debris before use. Perform hand hygiene and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Selecting the Simple Stem Mirror: Choose a compatible simple stem mirror head for the dental procedure.
• Mirror Attachment: Align the threaded end of the simple stem mirror head with the threaded portion on the mirror handle. Securely attach the mirror head to the handle by gently twisting it clockwise until snug.
• Adjustment for Comfort: Hold the mirror handle in a comfortable and ergonomic grip. Adjust the mirror angle as needed for optimal visibility and access during the procedure.
• Reflecting Light and Indirect Vision: Position the mirror in the patient’s oral cavity to reflect light and provide indirect vision. Use the mirror to visualize teeth, surfaces, and areas that are challenging to see directly.
