  • Before starting the procedure, ensure that the patient’s mouth is adequately numbed with a local anesthetic to ensure a pain-free extraction experience.
  • Hold the FX13s forceps in your dominant hand, ensuring a firm and comfortable grip on the handles.
  • Examine the patient’s mouth and locate the lower premolar tooth to be extracted.
  • Position the beaks of the forceps around the crown of the lower premolar tooth, ensuring a secure and firm grip.
  • Apply controlled and gentle pressure to the forceps handles, directing the force towards the tooth’s root.
  • Use a rocking motion or rotational movement to loosen the tooth from its socket. Be careful not to apply excessive force to avoid damage to surrounding tissues.
  • Once the tooth is sufficiently loosened, use the forceps to gently and slowly lift the tooth out of its socket.
  • If needed, use slight wiggling motions to ease the tooth out.
