- Before starting the procedure, ensure that the patient’s mouth is adequately numbed with a local anesthetic to ensure a pain-free extraction experience.
- Hold the AFX13 forceps in your dominant hand, ensuring a firm and comfortable grip on the handles.
Examine the patient’s mouth and locate the lower premolar tooth to be extracted. - Position the beaks of the forceps around the crown of the lower premolar tooth, ensuring a secure and firm grip.
- Apply controlled and gentle pressure to the forceps handles, directing the force towards the tooth’s root.
