Description

Description
American Forceps Molars First & Second Upper Molar Teeth Right # 53R (F53R)The GDC American Pattern Forceps for upper first and second molars feature a straight handle configuration where the beaks and handle run parallel — a design that allows the operator to apply axial force directly along the long axis of the tooth. This differs from the English pattern, where the handle is perpendicular to the beak, and gives the American pattern a distinct advantage in cases where a direct push-and-rotate technique is preferred.

The beaks are anatomically contoured to adapt to the furcation of upper first and second molars, providing a secure grip around the mesiobuccal and distobuccal roots. The precision-milled serrations on the beak surfaces minimise slippage during rotation and luxation without causing unnecessary root fracture.

Crafted from austenitic stainless steel AISI-304 and polished to a corrosion-resistant finish, these forceps are fully autoclavable and built for repeated sterilization across years of clinical use. They are a standard instrument in general dental practice and oral surgery setups managing routine upper molar extractions.
