Description

Description

GDC Teflon Coated Composite Posterior Medium / Large Contact (TNCFIM/L) is a high-precision dental instrument designed for superior control and flexibility during treatments. The round cone-shaped instrument helps to provide improved contact. Its rounded handles ensure better maneuverability, enhancing the accuracy of composite shaping and contouring.

The plasma coating prevents composite materials from sticking, eliminating the need for a separating medium like spirit or monomer. The posterior M/L contact is used for medium/large class 2nd restorations.

Additionally, the highly polished surface resists corrosion, ensuring durability. This instrument is autoclavable, maintaining sterility and making it an excellent choice for dental professionals focused on delivering optimal care and precision in composite dental procedures”

Features
  • The round cone shape of the instrument helps to form better contact with the adjacent tooth.
  • Rounded handles offer better control of the instrument resulting in high precision and flexibility during dental treatments.
  • Plasma coating improves the handling or molding of composite material as it makes the instrument non sticky and doesn’t require the use of a separating medium (spirit or monomer).
  • This instrument enables the dentist to easily shape, and contour the dental composites.
  • The highly polished surface of instrument resists corrosion.
The instrument can be autoclaved which makes it an appropriate choice for dentist. “

  • Load the chosen composite into the tooth cavity.
  • Gently press it against the filling material in the cavity. Apply firm yet controlled pressure to compact and condense the material.
  • Once the filling material is condensed, carefully inspect the restoration for any excess material that needs to be removed.
  • Check for the occlusion.
  • After condensing, proceed with the finishing and polishing.
  • Immediately after usage, the ends of composite instruments should be gently cleaned with a swab or piece of cotton soaked in alcohol. This prolongs the instrument’s life and reduces the amount of thin composite layers that accumulate after use. The instrument is then sterilised as advised.
