• Prepare the Cavity: Ensure the tooth cavity is properly cleaned and prepared before placing the restorative material.
• Place the Amalgam: Introduce the required amount of amalgam into the prepared cavity using an amalgam carrier.
• Condense the Material: Use the serrated plugger to apply firm, controlled pressure, ensuring dense compaction and proper adaptation of the amalgam while minimizing voids.
• Build in Layers: If required, add amalgam incrementally and condense each layer until the cavity is completely restored.
